I’m Liz Rose, I’m a recognised funeral celebrant ...

And I wish to help you through this time when someone close and special to you has died. This brings deep changes in your life- I know this from events in my own life. As a consequence I am able to spend time with you to create a reflection of what, for you was the life of a very special person- a reflection can bring about celebration, tribute and the open expression of your love for who we are remembering. In working together I will hope to remove worries you may have and enable you to create a unique tome of memory in a special way.

I’ll be there with you, giving you empathy, compassion and understanding.

Unique allows us to choose music, poetry, anecdotes and stories that are all about who we are remembering- so you can feel that they are there with us.

Why choose me?

When I lost my mum I didn't know where to turn. I just knew that I wanted to share with everyone what a wonderful life she had lived and how grateful her family, friends and those close to her were.

We laughed, we cried, all those emotions you feel when you lose someone so important in your life.

It was such a joy to read her favourite poems, sing loudly and raise a glass to a life well lived.

My career as a mental health nurse has given me the understanding of loss, the skills to support families through the bereavement process and to ensure we create a celebration that helps with recovery. Let’s have some fun. And let’s all enjoy and perhaps laugh a lot with the celebration of the person we are here for.
